Laptop Modeling Automation Tool Overview

This document is a technical report detailing the development and implementation of a laptop modeling automation tool by BETA CAE Systems in collaboration with LCFC (Hefei) Electronics Technology. The primary objective of this automation tool is to streamline the laptop modeling process, which traditionally involves several manual tasks such as geometry cleanup, meshing, and report generation. The report outlines the challenges faced in automating these tasks, including the complexity of connector creation and the need for different meshing patterns. A customized graphical user interface (GUI) was developed to address these challenges, allowing for the integration of various functionalities required for the modeling process. The tool significantly enhances efficiency, achieving a 200% increase in productivity and a 67% reduction in modeling time. The report also describes the innovative features of the tool, such as a database for screw identification and a unique toolbar for report generation, which collectively improve the flexibility and effectiveness of the modeling process.
