This case study details the audio system implementation at the Angry Orchard Walden Cider House in New York. The objective was to deliver a consistent and immersive audio experience across various indoor and outdoor spaces, supporting daily service, announcements, and live events. The solution involved the use of Desono surface-mount loudspeakers and subwoofers, along with a zoned audio design and hardwired distribution to ensure reliability and ease of management. The project emphasized the importance of defining the desired listening experience through evaluations, aligning stakeholders on sound quality. A zoned audio approach was adopted to allow staff to control sound levels in different areas while maintaining a cohesive auditory experience. The installation was executed to blend seamlessly with the venue's aesthetics, preserving its character while enhancing audio performance. The outcome was a unified audio system that eliminated dropouts and provided consistent sound quality, significantly improving the guest experience and operational efficiency.
