Auditory Experience Enhancement at Gore Arena

This case study details the improvements made to the auditory experience at Gore Arena, located in Buies Creek, NC, home to Campbell University’s basketball, volleyball, and wrestling teams. The objective was to enhance sound quality and clarity throughout the arena, addressing issues with the previous sound system that resulted in inconsistent audio across different seating areas. The installation of Community loudspeakers from Biamp was identified as the solution, allowing for tailored sound projection that ensures clear audio for all attendees. The collaborative effort involved Campbell University staff and Tri-Tronics AV, an audiovisual integrator. Post-installation feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with significant improvements noted in sound clarity and depth during various events, including athletic competitions and graduation ceremonies. The case study emphasizes the successful transformation of the auditory experience, highlighting the importance of quality sound in enhancing the overall atmosphere of events held at the facility.
