Optimization of Quality Control Workflow in Laboratories

This case study details how the Provincial Hospital of Bolzano enhanced its quality control (QC) workflow by implementing Bio-Rad's InteliQ controls. The transition to ready-to-use plastic tubes minimized preparation steps, reduced QC consumption by 20.8%, and decreased manual activities by 28.3%, leading to improved efficiency and reduced error rates. The study highlights the benefits of streamlined processes in laboratory settings, ultimately enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.
