Holding Company Future Proofs Acquisitions & Divestitures with Cloud-based WAN Standardization

This case study details the challenges faced by a holding company during planned acquisitions, particularly the lack of clear technical direction and IT support. The Blue Mantis team implemented a cloud-based WAN solution that addressed these issues by providing connectivity to the public cloud and supporting both Azure and AWS. The solution included the standardization and installation of firewalls and DMVPN over public internet with redundancy, as well as the creation of a hybrid WAN that utilized local internet providers. Additionally, Blue Mantis centralized network management for the client, which enhanced connectivity and future-proofed expenditures by incorporating cloud-based bandwidth capabilities. The implementation of a single-pane-of-glass advanced network services management system improved performance and increased uptime through redundant ISP circuits and systems. Furthermore, the solution reduced risk by introducing redundancy for critical network resources, thereby eliminating single points of failure and establishing centralized security policies.
