Implementation of Free Vend Menstrual Product Dispensers

This case study documents the collaboration between the largest school district in California and Bobrick to comply with the CA AB367 bill, which mandates the provision of free menstrual care products in schools. The district evaluated Bobrick’s Surface-Mounted Napkin/Tampon Vendor, B-2706C, against market alternatives, focusing on durability and user access. Test results indicated that the B-2706C outperformed other dispensers in preventing vandalism and managing product supply effectively. The B-2706C is fully ADA-compliant and designed for high usage, featuring a simple push-button operation and secure locking mechanisms. The school district's need for reliable and accessible menstrual care solutions drove the decision to proceed with a significant installation of over 10,000 units, ensuring compliance with emerging legislation. The study outlines the successful implementation process and the positive feedback from facility staff regarding hygiene and operational efficiency, highlighting the importance of such dispensers in educational environments.
