This case study details the implementation of Bocada's backup reporting solution at Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP), the largest bank in Peru. BCP sought to enhance its backup performance oversight and data protection due to the complexities of managing over 4,000 backup clients through a managed service provider (MSP). The existing monthly performance reports were cumbersome and did not allow for proactive management. By integrating Bocada's platform, BCP achieved significant improvements, including reducing monthly backup failure rates to less than 0.5% and decreasing the asset protection validation process from five hours to just minutes. The solution provided real-time analytics and automated reporting, enabling the team to monitor backup health effectively and address issues promptly. The integration with BCP's configuration management database (CMDB) further streamlined the identification of unprotected assets. Overall, the implementation of Bocada led to enhanced confidence in BCP's data security protocols and improved service delivery to its customers.
