Radiation Segmentectomy for Early Hepatocellular Carcinoma

This research article investigates the long-term outcomes of radiation segmentectomy (RS) as a potential curative treatment for early hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in patients with preserved liver function. The study analyzes data from 70 patients, reporting response rates, median overall survival, and time to progression, demonstrating that RS may provide comparable outcomes to traditional curative treatments for selected HCC patients.
