This case study outlines the implementation of BQE CORE at Materials Testing & Consulting, Inc. (MTC) to improve project management and billing processes. MTC, which provides geotechnical and environmental engineering services, previously relied on QuickBooks for time tracking and project management. However, this system delayed insights by up to 45 days, leading to inefficiencies and lost revenue. The transition to BQE CORE enabled MTC to access real-time data, which enhanced their ability to monitor project performance and make timely financial decisions. The platform allowed employees to submit time and expenses remotely, reducing administrative errors and improving project turnaround times. Additionally, CORE facilitated the batching of invoices, significantly speeding up their invoicing process and improving cash flow. The case study highlights the benefits of real-time data in identifying under-billing and optimizing resource allocation across projects, ultimately leading to better financial outcomes for MTC.
