This case study documents the approach taken by Brennan to enhance workforce efficiency and morale through the implementation of modern mobile technology. The objective was to enable a more mobile workforce that could engage proactively with customers. To achieve this, Brennan deployed Microsoft Surface Pro tablets equipped with Windows 8 Enterprise, allowing seamless access to the corporate network without the need for a VPN. The tablets were pre-loaded with collaboration software, including LifeSize ClearSea and Microsoft Lync, facilitating effective communication among staff and clients. The solution also included Microsoft SharePoint for document collaboration and SkyDrive Pro for secure data synchronization. The results indicated improved productivity, collaboration, and staff morale. Brennan's Managing Director noted that the internal rollout of this solution has served as a powerful sales tool, showcasing the productivity of staff in the field. The company plans to extend this mobility solution to other groups within the organization, reflecting the positive feedback from the sales team.
