This case study outlines a virtual team leadership webinar conducted by a global energy and utilities company in partnership with BTS. The initiative was prompted by the challenges faced during the COVID-19 outbreak, which left many organizations unprepared for remote management. The 90-minute interactive webinar aimed to equip managers with essential skills for leading virtual teams. Participants engaged in discussions about building virtual engagement and creating successful virtual strategies. They learned tools and tips for effective virtual leadership, shared best practices, and experienced techniques for conducting engaging virtual meetings. The session included interactive elements such as chat, polls, breakout rooms, and a whiteboard to facilitate collaboration. Feedback from participants indicated a high level of effectiveness, with 72% rating the session as very effective. The results of the webinar were tracked using Quick Response codes to measure its impact on participants' ability to lead their teams remotely.
