This case study outlines the leadership development program implemented at Camp Korey, a non-profit organization focused on providing camp experiences for children with serious medical conditions. The program was designed to address the challenges faced by a new leadership team during a significant organizational transition, including a new CEO. The leadership team consisted of individuals with varying levels of experience, necessitating a tailored approach to skill development. The program featured personalized learning sessions and group discussions aimed at fostering trust and improving communication among leaders. Key components included 10 pre-selected skill-based sessions and 2 elective sessions, focusing on essential leadership skills such as effective communication, conflict resolution, and managing change. The results indicated improved leadership skills, enhanced teamwork, and positive feedback from participants, highlighting the program's effectiveness in preparing leaders to navigate future challenges. This initiative supports a culture of continuous learning at Camp Korey, ensuring that leadership remains agile and responsive to the needs of the organization.
