This document is a Total Economic Impact study commissioned by Cato Networks and conducted by Forrester Consulting. It examines the potential return on investment (ROI) that enterprises may achieve by deploying the Cato SASE Platform. The study outlines how SASE platforms integrate security and networking functions, providing centralized management that enhances network performance while reducing security risks. The findings are based on interviews with decision-makers from various organizations, revealing that prior to Cato SASE, they faced challenges such as complex infrastructure and high costs associated with multiple point solutions. Post-implementation, organizations reported significant labor savings, improved security posture, and cost reductions in licensing and telecom. Key quantified benefits over three years include breach cost savings of $2.1 million and labor savings of $2.0 million, among others. The study also highlights unquantified benefits such as enhanced regulatory compliance and improved collaboration between network and security teams.
