Vision Zero Strategy Model Development for Manufacturing Safety

It highlights the lack of widespread dissemination of research related to Vision Zero, particularly in manufacturing, where traditional safety principles are often prioritized over proactive strategies. The report discusses the necessity for a shift towards a more business-oriented approach to workplace safety, emphasizing the importance of aligning safety practices with productivity goals. It also notes that existing research has primarily focused on road safety rather than the manufacturing context. The findings suggest that the Vision Zero strategy has not been effectively implemented in many emerging nations, including Ethiopia, where occupational safety issues remain a significant concern. The report aims to provide insights for policymakers to enhance workplace health and safety regulations.
