This case study details the experience of The Wildlife Gallery, the largest tannery for the taxidermy industry in the United States, in improving their annual budgeting process. The organization faced challenges with previous financial tools such as Excel, QuickBooks, and NetSuite, which were cumbersome and lacked necessary budgeting functionality. CFO Nate Walters sought a more sophisticated solution that would integrate with their existing ERP system, NetSuite. After researching options, The Wildlife Gallery implemented Planning Maestro, which streamlined their budgeting process significantly. The integration with NetSuite allows for automatic data importation, reducing the risk of errors and saving time. The budgeting process duration has been cut in half, now taking about a month or less. Additionally, Planning Maestro's personnel planning capabilities have simplified updates related to employee salaries and benefits, making it easier for the organization to manage its budgeting needs effectively.
