Clark County School District CrisisAlert Implementation

This case study details the implementation of the CrisisAlert™ wearable panic button at Clark County School District, aimed at enhancing campus safety. Following a series of violent incidents, the district recognized the urgent need for a reliable safety solution that would allow staff to quickly request assistance during emergencies. The CrisisAlert system was introduced to enable employees to get help regardless of their location on campus. The effectiveness of this system was demonstrated shortly after its deployment when a security monitor at Rancho High School was assaulted. Staff members utilized their CrisisAlert badges to summon immediate help, leading to a rapid response from first responders and campus security. The injured monitor was subsequently transported to a hospital and discharged the following morning. This incident underscores the importance of timely response mechanisms in improving safety outcomes within educational environments.
