SharePoint Customization for Regional Banking Franchise

This case study outlines the collaboration between a regional banking franchise and Charter Global to enhance the client's SharePoint platform. The banking franchise, operating 152 branches across five southeastern states, faced operational inefficiencies due to outdated SharePoint technology and insufficient user training. Charter Global was selected to provide IT staffing and manage the project, which included implementing necessary updates and developing custom solutions using ASP.NET, C#, and SharePoint API. The consultant also created documentation and governance plans to ensure compliance with Federal regulations. As a result of the project, the client's SharePoint servers were redesigned, leading to improved performance and user training. Automation of manual processes significantly reduced labor hours, exemplified by a transition from a manual spreadsheet to SharePoint for tracking weekly call lists, saving 640 labor hours per week. Overall, the project aimed to optimize operational efficiency and enhance the client’s technology infrastructure.
