Photonic Performance Optimization in Adaptive Networks

This technical report outlines the challenges and solutions associated with optimizing photonic performance within adaptive networks. It describes how traditional networks struggle with real-time visibility, leading to potential downtimes when traffic is switched to seemingly operational paths. To address these issues, the report emphasizes the need for intelligent and programmable photonic infrastructure, which includes extensive monitoring capabilities.
