This case study outlines the development of a scalable data infrastructure for clinical decision support systems (CDSS) by a leading Diagnostics and Life Sciences company. The client aimed to create a cloud-hosted, real-time platform for clinical decision support. CitiusTech was selected as the preferred vendor due to its expertise in healthcare, data science, and cloud technologies. The case study details the architecture, design, and development of platform components using Azure DevOps and Azure ML services. It describes the integration of Mirth Connect for HL7 and FHIR communication, deployment of Mirth channels for key workflows, and the integration of Epic EHR sandbox using FHIR APIs. Additionally, it highlights the creation of a standalone CDSS web application with analytics services and the establishment of a deployment pipeline for AI models.
