This technical report details the implementation of the KOLO® Smart Monitoring System at Progressive Field, a major league ballpark in Cleveland, Ohio. The system integrates IoT technology to enhance restroom maintenance and improve operational efficiency. The partnership between GP PRO, Comcast Business, and MachineQ facilitated the deployment of a scalable IoT network using LoRaWAN® technology. The KOLO® system was installed in 56 restroom facilities, allowing for real-time monitoring of supply levels and conditions. This innovation addressed challenges such as labor shortages and inefficient manual checks, leading to an 80% increase in operational efficiency and saving approximately 500 hours annually. Additionally, the system contributed to a 50% reduction in paper waste, aligning with sustainability goals.
