Normet, a B2B technology company specializing in underground mining and tunneling, recognized the inefficiencies in its traditional sales methods, which relied heavily on person-to-person interactions and manual processes. With a catalog of 65,000 specialized spare parts, the company sought to digitize its operations to improve customer experience and operational efficiency. The implementation of a fully digital catalog allowed for easier purchasing, better visibility of product availability, and pricing information. The project, executed in collaboration with Columbus Global, was completed in just 4.5 months. The new system not only facilitated online ordering but also enabled sales teams to focus on more strategic tasks.
