Digital Backbone Development for SunTec Headquarters

This technical report outlines the development of the digital backbone for SunTec Business Solutions' new headquarters at Technocity IT Park in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. The project commenced in September 2017 and involved the construction of a 10-acre corporate campus designed to facilitate high-speed information and communications technology (ICT) and extra-low voltage (ELV) networks. CommScope was selected to design and implement the network infrastructure, which included extensive fiber and copper cabling solutions to ensure reliable connectivity across the campus. The report details the challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, which impacted project timelines and collaboration methods. Despite these challenges, the project was completed on schedule, with a focus on sustainability and future scalability. The infrastructure includes a Tier 3 data center, advanced cooling systems, and intelligent management solutions to monitor and manage network connections effectively. The completion of Phase 1 marks a significant milestone in SunTec's commitment to innovation and growth.
