This case study presents the implementation of the FLO Framework aimed at enhancing asset intelligence within an IT environment. The primary objective was to improve data integrity and provide a validated view of the IT landscape for a CIO struggling with insufficient information about his organization's assets. The FLO Framework consolidates various data sets, enabling IT teams to compare and correct discrepancies in asset counts from multiple sources, including ServiceNow CMDB and Endpoint Security Compliance. The dashboard displays confidence percentages in asset data, which increased as discrepancies were resolved. Within 60 days, the initiative achieved a 40% improvement in workstation inventory accuracy and a 98% confidence score for workstation inventory. The study outlines the ongoing efforts to maintain high asset accuracy, continue data clean-up, and correct processes that affect data integrity. The results underscore the importance of accurate asset intelligence in facilitating informed decision-making regarding security, compliance, and budget planning.
