This research article presents a detailed analysis of the stress load on suspension clamp assemblies within the Modular Cantilever System (MCS) utilized in railway Overhead Equipment (OHE). The primary objective is to assess how these assemblies, which support catenary wires under various load conditions, perform under different configurations. The study employs Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate stress distribution and identify potential weaknesses in the design. The findings indicate that while the suspension clamp assemblies generally handle loads effectively, certain areas exhibit higher stress concentrations that could lead to failure. Recommendations for design improvements include the introduction of fillets and smooth profiles to mitigate these stress points. By addressing these issues, the research aims to enhance the structural integrity and reliability of suspension clamps in railway systems. The article concludes with a discussion on the implications of these findings for future designs and installations in diverse railway environments.
