Nexperia Semiconductor Infrastructure Upgrade Project

This document is a case study detailing the infrastructure upgrade project undertaken by Nexperia, a semiconductor company headquartered in the Netherlands. The project was initiated to address the challenges posed by obsolete inherited infrastructure across multiple data centers, aiming to minimize production downtime and accommodate rapid global growth. Nexperia sought a standardized, highly available solution that would ensure continuity across all production locations while maintaining a positive cash flow. The collaboration with HPE and Concat AG resulted in the implementation of HPE Synergy and HPE GreenLake solutions across five manufacturing sites and four regional data centers. The project has successfully reduced priority 1 incidents significantly, improved reliability through redundant systems, and provided a single point of contact for all HPE GreenLake topics. The flexible scalability of the solution has allowed Nexperia to adapt to growth without incurring large upfront costs, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and support capabilities.
