Confianz Case Study on Health Risk Management Application

This case study details the development of a real-time claim approval web-based application by Confianz for a leading managed care service organization in Dubai, specializing in health risk management. The organization faced challenges with a partially automated system that complicated claim approvals and adjudication. To address these issues, Confianz proposed a web-based solution that streamlined communication between healthcare providers and the managed care organization. The development process involved careful planning and coordination with the client, incorporating feedback at each stage to enhance the application's effectiveness. The application was built using PHP with the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database, ensuring user-friendliness and robustness. The project was executed in phases, with a prototype released after one month, followed by a beta version that significantly improved the business flow by enabling real-time policy validation, document management, and simplified claims submission for doctors. Various tools were utilized for project management, bug tracking, and communication throughout the development process.
