This case study details the partnership between Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) and C1 in enhancing emergency response capabilities through the implementation of 911inform. APS, serving over 70,000 students across 163 sites, faced significant challenges in ensuring safety and compliance with the Ray Baum Act, which mandates precise location information for 911 calls. The district sought to improve its emergency response systems, particularly in critical situations like active shooter events. C1, a technology partner for over 12 years, provided a solution that included real-time mapping, geofencing, and rapid SOS capabilities. The integration of 911inform with APS's existing Avaya infrastructure was crucial for effective deployment. The results of this collaboration have led to improved emergency response capabilities, compliance with regulations, and enhanced safety for students and staff. The case study illustrates the importance of technology in modernizing school safety measures and ensuring effective communication during emergencies.
