This case study outlines the strategic partnership between a convenience store chain and Copeland to facilitate the rapid expansion of the store chain in China. The store chain aimed to open 5,000 locations within a year, focusing on efficient delivery of fresh food and vegetables within a two-kilometer radius. To achieve this ambitious goal, they required a partner capable of providing consistent equipment installation and support. Copeland supplied Digital ZX Condensing units, Dixell XR75CX Controllers, and RS485 MODBUS configured with Site Supervisor to enhance operational efficiency. The solution allowed the store chain to identify and prioritize equipment issues, thereby improving product quality and energy efficiency. As a result, the convenience store chain not only met its target but exceeded it by over a thousand stores in 2018, while also benefiting from reduced operational costs and improved site management through Copeland's Intelligent Store solution.
