Real-Time Quality Control for Seafood Shipments

This case study outlines the quality control (QC) processes implemented by Eastern Fish Company to ensure the integrity of their international ocean freight shipments. The company, which specializes in seafood, faced significant challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, including increased shipment lead times and difficulties in maintaining temperature requirements for perishable goods. To address these issues, Eastern Fish partnered with Copeland’s Climate Technologies to utilize their GO real-time 4G/5G trackers and the Oversight portal. This solution provides real-time visibility into the temperature and location of shipments, allowing the QC team to monitor conditions and respond to potential issues proactively.
