Procure-to-Pay Cloud Migration Case Study

This case study details the strategic migration of Laboratoires Expanscience from Corcentric’s legacy on-premise Procure-to-Pay (P2P) solution to a cloud-based procurement solution. The objective was to simplify and digitalize the procurement process while improving internal purchasing control, particularly at their subsidiary in Mexico. The challenges included managing indirect purchases that were previously handled manually in Excel and ensuring compliance across various regions. The implementation involved a thorough review of purchasing parameters and processes, resulting in a significant reduction in purchasing categories from 600 to 150. The deployment of the Corcentric Procurement Solution at the Mexican subsidiary allowed for better management of local tax requirements and user interface adaptation. The results showed that the solution is utilized by 300 users making nearly 15,000 purchase requests annually, achieving full visibility and traceability of expenses, and streamlining procurement processes across the organization.
