This technical report details the implementation of advanced border surveillance systems by a government agency in the Middle East to enhance security in a volatile region. The report outlines the challenges posed by frequent upheavals and various threat vectors, necessitating a high-performance solution for electronic surveillance across remote border areas. The agency deployed an RF hardware and software ecosystem, including RFeye Nodes and vehicle-mounted RFeye Array systems, to achieve continuous monitoring and intelligence gathering. The report describes the operational capabilities required, such as monitoring a wide frequency range, detecting and geolocating signals, and ensuring spectrum cleanliness. It also highlights the use of RFeye Mission Manager for automated spectrum management, allowing for real-time threat detection and response. Over a decade of multi-mission deployments has demonstrated the effectiveness of these systems in providing 24/7 intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) support, ensuring the agency can manage diverse threat scenarios effectively.
