This case study details the implementation of a Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service for Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) by CyberCX. RAV, with over 70 years of experience in providing family and relationship support services, faced challenges in securing its endpoints, which transitioned from thin clients to laptops due to the pandemic. The organization aimed to deploy an Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution to mitigate cyber threats and support a hybrid working model. CyberCX utilized a structured methodology for the MDR service, which included three project streams: Platform, Security Policy, and Service Operation. The deployment was completed in under seven business days, ensuring that all information assets are protected and monitored. Additionally, RAV implemented a security awareness training platform, Phriendly Phishing, to enhance its cyber resilience. This case study illustrates the effective partnership between RAV and CyberCX in addressing cybersecurity challenges.
