This case study outlines the transformation of a multinational conglomerate's Security Operations Center (SOC) through the implementation of Google SecOps. The client faced challenges with their legacy on-premises Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system, which limited scalability and integration flexibility. The objectives included executing a seamless migration to Google SecOps, establishing an enterprise-grade SIEM and Security Orchestration and Response (SOAR) capability, and building internal operational expertise. CyberProof was selected to manage the implementation, which integrated approximately 4,000 log sources and developed custom detection use cases, achieving 70% MITRE ATT&CK framework coverage. The migration resulted in a significant reduction in alert volume and improved response times, with an 85% improvement in Mean Time to Respond (MTTR) and a 40% reduction in Mean Time to Detect (MTTD). The case study highlights the operational maturity gained through this transformation, providing the client with enhanced security posture across its global operations.
