This case study details the implementation of an upgraded warehouse management system (WMS) for a North American mall retailer, facilitated by enVista and Cycle Labs. The retailer transitioned from a manual, paper-based WMS to the Infios Warehouse Advantage WMS at its Charlotte, NC distribution center to enhance inventory tracking and process automation. The retailer's goal was to ensure the new system could efficiently handle high volumes during peak seasons. To achieve this, enVista built automated workflows for 14 critical warehouse processes and executed performance tests. The project included extensive training for client personnel to ensure effective system adoption. The Cycle platform enabled automated regression, performance, and business process testing, identifying issues early and improving system quality throughout deployment. The collaboration resulted in a successful Go Live, with the new WMS surpassing performance benchmarks without operational slowdowns, demonstrating the effectiveness of the automated testing approach.
