This document is a case study detailing the implementation of the Memor mobile computer at the Klinikum der Universität München, one of Europe's largest hospitals. The hospital, which has 45 clinics and a capacity for 2,200 patients, faced challenges when their previous mobile devices became unavailable. The objective was to find a high-quality system that would integrate seamlessly with existing processes. After careful evaluation, the hospital selected the Memor mobile computer along with custom software to facilitate integration. The solution was piloted successfully at the University Hospital of Großhadern and is now used across all departments. The Memor mobile computer enhances efficiency in inventory management by allowing staff to scan barcodes, manage material costs, and transfer data to the hospital's SAP system. The device's ergonomic design and large memory capacity contribute to improved performance and reduced fatigue among staff, ultimately streamlining workflows and ensuring high standards of patient care.
