This case study outlines IFS's adoption of Datamaran to enhance its sustainability strategy and reporting processes. Prior to implementing Datamaran, IFS faced challenges such as subjective materiality assessments, manual processes for stakeholder input, and limited insights into sustainability risks and opportunities. The introduction of Datamaran allowed IFS to conduct a data-driven double materiality assessment, integrating stakeholder engagement and improving the objectivity of sustainability evaluations. The platform also facilitated risk and opportunity analysis, benchmarking, and regulatory monitoring, which improved the quality and efficiency of sustainability reporting. As a result, IFS experienced significant productivity gains and enhanced alignment between its sustainability strategy and business objectives. The use of Datamaran has provided clarity and objectivity in assessing sustainability priorities, enabling IFS to stay ahead of evolving regulations and focus on impactful initiatives. This case study demonstrates the effectiveness of leveraging AI and automation in sustainability management.
