This document is a validation study that investigates the relationship between Core Drivers scores and sales performance ratings within a technology company in the food and hospitality sector. The study involved 65 sales employees, representing 70% of the organization's sales team, who completed the Core Drivers assessment. The analysis focused on three personality constructs: Drive, Extraversion, and Stability, measuring their correlation with performance ratings using a standardized 9-point linear scale. The findings indicate that Drive and Extraversion have a statistically significant positive relationship with sales performance, accounting for approximately 10% of the variation in performance ratings. Stability showed a positive trend but did not reach statistical significance. The results suggest practical implications for organizations, including improved hiring decisions by screening for Drive and Extraversion, targeted development strategies for sales talent, and the potential for ongoing insight by linking personality data with performance metrics over time. Recommendations for expanding the dataset are also provided to enhance statistical power.
