Global Energy Provider KeyScaler Implementation Case Study

This case study details the implementation of Device Authority's KeyScaler by a global energy provider to enhance their Identity Lifecycle Management for connected refinery infrastructure. The objective was to integrate Microsoft Azure solutions with the corporate PKI to ensure enterprise security consistency. The project involved a complex Nested Edge deployment, which posed potential high costs. However, through the use of KeyScaler, the energy provider achieved significant savings of over $450,000 over three years. The solution provided reduced complexity by utilizing built-in connectors to automate and validate certificate chains down to Leaf devices. It also increased visibility of certificate policies and validity across the device stack, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
