This report examines the impact of DreamBox Math on elementary and middle school students in the Napa Valley Unified School District (NVUSD). The district adopted the DreamBox Math program for K–8 students in response to the challenges posed by remote learning during the pandemic. The study analyzes data from 6,462 students across 258 classrooms to assess the program's effectiveness in improving standardized test scores. Key findings indicate that students who completed five or more lessons per week scored significantly higher on end-of-year assessments compared to those who did not engage with the program. The report also highlights that the positive effects were observed across various demographics, including English language learners and students qualifying for free or reduced lunch. The methodology employed hierarchical linear modeling to ensure robust analysis of the data, confirming DreamBox Math's role in enhancing math achievement for diverse student populations.
