Osceola County Research Team Evaluates DreamBox Math ROI

This research brief presents the findings of the Osceola County School District regarding the implementation of DreamBox Math for K-5 students. The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of DreamBox Math in relation to student outcomes, specifically its impact on Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) scores and the return on investment (ROI). The research involved 934 students and analyzed the correlation between their progress in DreamBox Math and their FSA scores. The findings indicate a significant positive impact, with DreamBox Math classified as a highly successful intervention. The calculated ROI for using DreamBox Math was 196%, factoring in costs such as software licenses, teacher development, and salaries. The study highlights that higher usage of DreamBox Math correlates with improved assessment scores, particularly among students who engaged with the program as recommended. These results suggest that DreamBox Math can effectively enhance academic performance in the district.
