Healthcare Board Agenda System Implementation

This document is a case study detailing the implementation of a web-based Healthcare Board Agenda system by Docufree for the Florida Department of Health's Division of Medical Quality Assurance. The objective of this project was to address the challenges associated with manual agenda management processes, which were costly and time-consuming, and to improve the overall productivity of board meetings. Prior to the implementation, board members faced difficulties in accessing important documents, leading to inefficiencies and a backlog of case files. The new system allows board members to securely access and review meeting agendas and related documents online, significantly enhancing convenience and eliminating the need for physical mailings. The solution, powered by Amazon Web Services, ensures high security and compliance with privacy laws. As a result of these improvements, the Division has seen an increase in productivity, processing five times the volume of case files per meeting, and has successfully eliminated a three-year backlog of case files.
