Document Management Solution for Borough of Bay Head

This case study details the partnership between the Borough of Bay Head and Daida to enhance the municipality's document management processes. The objective was to modernize the management of construction records, ensure compliance with New Jersey DORES requirements, and facilitate secure cloud access to essential documents. Daida implemented a comprehensive solution that included digitizing municipal records, providing secure storage, and enabling efficient retrieval of documents. The system incorporated built-in redaction capabilities to protect sensitive information and support OPRA requests. The Borough aimed to reduce reliance on paper files and improve accessibility for authorized staff. As a result of this implementation, Daida now manages approximately 300,000 document images for the Borough, significantly improving efficiency and reducing physical storage needs. The solution has streamlined day-to-day operations and enhanced access to critical municipal records, demonstrating the effectiveness of modern document management practices.
