Digital Invoice Processing Implementation at Wein Wolf

This case study details the implementation of a digital invoice processing system at the Wein Wolf Group, a B2B segment of Hawesko Holding SE. The project was initiated by Dietmar Wohsmann, who aimed to eliminate the extensive paper filing system that had accumulated over the years. By adopting easy invoice for SAP Solutions, the company transitioned to a digital workflow that allows for efficient invoice approval and archiving. The implementation took approximately four months and involved collaboration with an in-house IT specialist and accounting team members. The new system has significantly increased processing efficiency, handling nearly 18,000 incoming invoices annually without the need for additional staff. The digitization has also improved transparency in the approval process, enabling better tracking of invoices. Wohsmann anticipates further improvements as the industry shifts towards mandatory e-invoicing, as outlined in the German Growth Opportunities Act, which will take effect in 2025.
