This case study details the implementation of Ecessa's WANworX® Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) solution by Delaware Valley Floral Group (DVFG), a major floral distribution and logistics company in the United States. DVFG faced challenges with their existing MPLS connections, which led to productivity losses during peak periods due to outages and line degradation. To address these issues, DVFG sought to enhance their Wide Area Network by adding local cable connections and exploring SD-WAN options for better traffic management. After an unsatisfactory experience with a competitor's product, DVFG successfully transitioned to WANworX, which was deployed using a structured, phased approach. The deployment resulted in improved network reliability, allowing DVFG to maintain operations seamlessly during disruptions. The case study highlights the positive impact of the SD-WAN solution on DVFG's business continuity and employee morale, particularly during critical times like the Valentine’s Day rush.
