This case study outlines the network transition project undertaken by Terminal Supply Company to replace their existing MPLS network with a new SD-WAN solution provided by Ecessa. The company, which operates seven locations across the Midwest and Arizona, faced challenges in maintaining reliable communication as their MPLS network was scheduled for discontinuation. C-Net Systems, their IT consulting partner, initiated a phased two-year project to implement a more efficient and cost-effective network using multiple ISP connections. The project management approach involved detailed planning and regular communication among the technology partners, ensuring all team members were informed about the project's progress. Ecessa engineers played a crucial role by providing hands-on support and detailed network diagrams, which facilitated the installation process, even for team members with limited technical experience. The project aimed to deliver a similar, or improved, quality of service compared to the previous MPLS setup while addressing the complexities of transitioning to a new network infrastructure.
