This case study outlines the deployment of a multi-cloud Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) by ECI for a leading global gaming studio facing challenges with its on-premises infrastructure. The studio's rapid expansion led to performance issues, including lag and downtime for remote artists accessing workstations and render farms. To address these challenges, ECI implemented a scalable and secure multi-cloud VDI solution that utilized Terraform-based modules to create secure, production-ready environments across AWS and Azure. This solution enabled low-latency access for artists, centralized management of resources, and seamless integration with existing workflows. As a result, the studio improved collaboration among its global teams, significantly reduced render times, and maintained the security of its proprietary assets within a hybrid network. The case study emphasizes the effectiveness of ECI's approach in enhancing performance, security, and scalability for creative production in the gaming industry.
