This document is a report detailing GSK India's initiative to enhance driver safety among its employees. With India being one of the most dangerous countries for driving, GSK has recognized the need to protect its workforce, particularly the 3,000 employees who travel for work. The company has partnered with eDriving to implement an interactive program aimed at improving awareness and safe driving practices. The program utilizes eDriving’s Virtual Risk Manager® (VRM), which includes components such as Safety Culture, RoadRISK®, DriverINDEX®, RiskCOACH®, and Benchmarking Analytics. These tools help create a safety commitment from leadership, assess driver risks, and provide training resources. The pilot program in the West Region of India reported zero injury-related incidents among participants, and following the nationwide rollout, there was a 40% reduction in lost-time injuries due to road crashes. The report outlines the establishment of a Safety Committee and a Driver Safety Dashboard to monitor compliance and achievements across various safety measures.
