This case study outlines the implementation of eFACiLiTY® at Qatar University, which is the largest educational institution in Qatar. The university faced challenges in managing maintenance schedules and handling helpdesk complaints through manual processes, leading to inefficiencies. To address these issues, Qatar University sought to automate its facility management operations. The eFACiLiTY® solution was implemented in July 2018, covering various modules including the Enterprise Asset Management System and Helpdesk & Knowledgebase System. The implementation resulted in significant improvements in efficiency and productivity, allowing for automated maintenance activities and streamlined helpdesk ticketing. The system facilitated effective management of service requests, leading to prompt responses and enhanced customer satisfaction. The eFACiLiTY® Smart Facility App further empowered faculty and technicians by enabling efficient task management and communication. Overall, the adoption of eFACiLiTY® has transformed Qatar University's facility management processes, creating a more productive environment for students and staff.
