University of Grenoble Alpes DDI Implementation Case Study

This case study details the implementation of EfficientIP's DDI solution at the University of Grenoble Alpes, a prominent educational institution in France. The university, which serves nearly 60,000 students and employs thousands of faculty and staff, faced challenges in managing its DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems following a merger of several entities. The objective was to create a unified and resilient DDI infrastructure that would centralize management and improve visibility across the network. The EfficientIP solution was selected for its flexibility and advanced delegation capabilities, leading to a significant reduction in total cost of ownership by over 40%. The implementation has allowed 280 technicians to autonomously manage their respective DNS and IP addressing needs while maintaining a single data repository.
