Impact Assessment of Eicher Motors CSR Projects

This report presents an impact assessment of the CSR project undertaken by Eicher Motors Limited, specifically focusing on the renovation of tribal houses in Masinagudi Village, Nilgiris district. The project aimed to improve living conditions for underprivileged families by renovating 144 houses, providing safe housing, and ensuring proper sanitation facilities. Key findings indicate that many beneficiaries faced significant socio-economic challenges, including low educational attainment and financial instability, which hindered their ability to maintain adequate housing. The assessment highlights improvements in housing conditions, with 98% of homes receiving durable roofing and 100% equipped with secure doors. Additionally, the project enhanced sanitation facilities, with 98% of homes now having private sanitation. The report outlines the importance of these renovations in fostering community safety and stability, while also recommending strategies for sustaining these improvements. Overall, the initiative has contributed to better living standards and a sense of security among the residents, promoting healthier and more sustainable living conditions.
